The opening collection / No. 01

A perfectly
improper beginning.

In development

Our first canvas begins with a laudanum bottle: green glass, warm amber tones, an ornate label, and a respectable appearance with a less respectable history.

A small object with a story. An appropriate first temptation.

Behind the shop door

Beautiful things.
Unusual company.

A word from the proprietor

Are you quite sure?

There’s still time to leave with your evenings intact.

The shop is taking shape. For now, you may browse without consequences.

When can I buy a canvas?

The opening collection is still in development. This is a first look at the shop; orders are not open yet.

What will the first design be?

A laudanum bottle. The artwork above introduces our first design. Canvas dimensions, mesh, price, and availability are still to come.

And the little fellow?

The proprietor. He appreciates a fine tapestry needle and considers the warning sufficient.

A closer look at the Laudanum bottle canvas artwork

The object comes first: a distinctive bottle silhouette, warm amber tones, and LAUDANUM unmistakably across its label.

The concept connects the shop’s literary roots with an object worth stitching in its own right. Canvas specifications and availability are being developed.
